To be added
Students are invited to present their current work (either the PhD thesis proposal or any other research activity) by preparing a poster that will be shown in a room next to the classroom. A dedicated time for the discussions of the posters will be allocated during the coffee breaks on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. The recommended poster size is either A0 or A1, in any case no larger than A0. For more information on how to prepare a poster you may for example see the following web site (from ACM).
The European society for fuzzy logic and applications offers 8 grants that donate the registration fee by the amount of 350EUR to PhD students that are Eusflat student members. The grant holders will thus pay only a symbolic fee 50EUR. If you wish to apply for a support grant, please email your application to the address grants@eusflat.org, justifying your request and attaching a curriculum vitae and a reference letter from your PhD advisor. For students receiving the Eusflat grant, presentation of a posterin the poster session or giving a short talk in the student session is mandatory. Deadline to apply for financial support: June 30, 2016. For more details on student grants, follow this link and contact us.
The Organizing committee will NOT provide participants with an official invitation letter for the EU visa purposes. Furthermore, because of the hotel storno fees we cannot risk any no-shows on the event due to visa reasons. Therefore, all participants from countries with visa obligation will be asked to send us a copy of their visa in order to make the registration valid.
We apologize for this inconvenience and thank the participants for their comprehension.
Registrations are ordered according to their date and time. However, if the number of registered participants will exceed the capacity abilities of the event, the organizers reserve the right to re-order the registrations with the aim to prefer EUSFLAT members or their students.
