Intersection of fuzzy sets is traditionally modelled with some
particular (and fixed) t-norm. The aim of this talk is to
present an approach that stems from selecting a different
t-norm of the family of Frank t-norms to each pair of fuzzy
sets being intersected. The resulting operation of
intersection satisfies simultaneously a set of interesting
properties that are not fulfilled together by any single
t-norm. Unfortunately, the price is paid by breaking
associativity...
